1. Definition 

1.1 The word "I", "us" or "we" means Cool-Carz Carmarthenshire/Bedfordshire.

1.2 The word "you", "your", "yourself" means the person(s) or business set out as customer(s) on these invoice/receipt forms.

1.3 You acknowledge that the service to you on these terms, and the price referred to on this invoice/receipt, and that these terms shall govern the agreement between you and us, for the provision of the service to the exclusion of all other terms.

1.4 "FREE* Windscreen Repairs"  * means subject to your insurance cover and the terms set out on your insurance policy.

2. The Service 

2.1 We shall provide the service in a timely and professional manner and you agree where appropriate to promptly provide us such assistance as we may reasonably request to assist us in the provision of services. If you fail to do so or provide us with inaccurate or incomplete information, we cannot be held liable for any delay, cost or other consequences that may arise.

2.2 You agree to give us all the information we require, to complete our invoice to your insurance company within 7 (seven) days of the completed work.

2.3 If we do not receive all your correct details within 7 (seven) days, you will be liable for the full price amount of the repair(s).

3. Payment

3.1 In return for the provision of services you agree to pay us the specified total amount on the invoice.  When a credit account is in place and no price is shown you agree to pay us for the products and services listed on our customer work sheet at

the prices agreed. Payments should be made by cash, cheque, credit/debit card within 14 (fourteen) working days from date of completed work. We reserve the right to charge an admin fee should payment fail to be made resulting in a court summons, such fee to be in addition to any legal costs and interest.

4. Risk / Title

4.1 Automotive glass repairs are carried out by us at your own risk. In the event of a repair cracking or spreading during the repair process, you will not hold us liable for any compensation having deemed that we have attempted to repair an already damaged windscreen.

4.2 In the unlikely event of a repair spreading or failing, you should contact us and we will arrange for a technician to re-repair the failed repair.

4.3 In the event that you replace your windscreen without giving us the opportunity to re-repair the damage, you waiver all claims or liability against us and all our staff/employees, and your guarantee is then invalid.

5. Liability

5.1 We shall not be liable for any losses or damage which you may suffer as a result of relying upon our advice or recommendations, unless we have mutually breached these terms in which case our liability shall be limited to the value of services. In no event shall we be liable for indirect or consequential loss or damage, including loss of profit, caused by any such advice/recommendations.

5.2 Our maximum liability will be to refund the payment for the repair to your insurance company even if you have chosen to prepay for the repair, or to yourself in the invent of you having paid for repair as a non insurance paid repair.

6. Warranty

6.1 All work carried out by us carries a 1 (one) year warranty, from the date of completion of repair. This covers failure of our repairs for any reason other than a repeat impact to your windscreen.

6.2 To make a claim under (6.1) please call us to discuss your claim and enable us to rectify our service. We will need a photograph of the damage with a covering letter of your claim. We will not be liable for any costs of third parties that rectify our service.

6.3 If you or any other third party have attempted to rectify our service, then your guarantee will become void.

6.4 If you have visited us on site to repair your windscreen, any re-repair(s) will be done on that site at a date that suits us and you.  If however we have visited you, we will come to you to carry out any re-repair(s), at a date that suits us and you.

6.5 Due to the make-up and structure of your vehicle's windscreen, all damages are unique and react differently to repairs. We cannot guarantee your repaired damage will be 100% invisible due to moisture and dirt contamination plus laminated scarring etc.  There will always be a small amount of visible scarring, no matter how small your damage is.

7. Prepay Guarantee

7.1 We guarantee where you the customer have chosen to prepay for the repair(s), that your insurance company will reimburse you, minus any excess, and subject to the terms and conditions of your insurance policy. If your insurance company then refuses to reimburse you in writing after they have received the completed prepay invoice from you, then we will reimburse you the full amount after we have investigated and received a copy of the letter refusing reimbursement from your insurance company.

8. Customer Details

8.1 We will not share any of your personal details with any third parties that are not directly linked with us.

8.2 We will only share your personal details with the companies we liaise and deal with directly to complete the repair(s) of your windscreen.

9. Declaration

9.1 By signing the invoice/prepay forms I agree and understand all of the above Cool-Carz Carmarthenshire/Bedfordshire terms and conditions, 1 to 9.1.
